3. React the neutralized benzoic acid with chlorobutyric anhydride for ester exchange reaction. The reaction is carried out using appropriate solvents and catalysts (such as trimethylamine) at appropriate temperature and time

4. The benzyl butyrate obtained is subjected to a hydrolysis reaction to convert the benzyl ester group into a carboxyl group. Further reactions need to be carried out under acidic conditions, such as the use of dilute sulfuric acid

Finally, through neutralization treatment, the obtained phenylbutyric acid is neutralized with the corresponding salt or neutral substance in the stomach
