The chemical is very special,so we want to show some special properties as follows
1-Methylnaphthalene is mainly present in naphthalene oil fractions (with a content of 3.45%) and wash oil fractions (with a content of approximately 5.4%). (1) The residual oil at the bottom of the naphthalene oil fraction and the neutral oil from the wash oil fraction after acid and alkali washing are preliminarily distilled. The crude methyl naphthalene fraction at 230-270 ℃ is cut out, with a cutting amount of 25-30% of the raw material and no less than 60 theoretical trays for distillation in a distillation tower. A reflux ratio of 20:1 is used to cut the methyl naphthalene fraction at 240-250 ℃. Re steam the methyl naphthalene fraction in a distillation tower with the same efficiency, and cut out the crystallized fraction at 237-241 ℃ and the non crystallized fraction at 241-245 ℃. Freeze the crystallizable fraction to -10-20 ℃ and obtain 2-methylnaphthalene by centrifugation or squeezing crystallization. Combine the filtrate with the above non crystalline fractions, wash with 95 98% concentrated sulfuric acid with 3-5% raw material, neutralize with alkali, wash and remove water, and then fractionate on an efficient distillation tower to remove fractions below 241 ℃. Crystals are removed by low-temperature freezing to obtain over 95% industrial grade 1-methylnaphthalene. After repeated sulfonation and hydrolysis, a refined product with a purity of 98% can be obtained. (2) In high-temperature tar, it contains about 0.8% -1.2%. The washing oil fraction at 230-300 ℃ is dephenolized, pyridine base is removed, and then the methyl naphthalene fraction at 240-245 ℃ is distilled and cut, frozen to -20 ℃. At this time β- Methylnaphthalene precipitates, and the fraction that does not crystallize at -20 ℃ is α- Methylnaphthalene fraction can be sulfonated and hydrolyzed to obtain industrial purity.

1. Used as raw materials for organic synthesis such as surfactants, water reducing agents, dispersants, and drugs. It can be used as a printing and dyeing carrier for polyvinyl chloride fibers and polyester fibers, as an emulsifier for hexachlorocyclohexane, as well as a heat carrier and solvent, surfactant, sulfur extraction agent, and as a raw material for producing plasticizers and fiber dyeing aids.
2. A standard fuel used to determine the octane and cetane numbers of diesel fuel, also used for organic synthesis.
3. Used for organic synthesis, as a printing and dyeing carrier, heat carrier, plasticizer, etc
